BALCONY
This stunning balcony shows how we can integrate the inside and outside areas with large sliding glazed screens opening up the house to the garden and amazing views
The balcony was an important feature of the original design and cantilevered steel beams were built in during the main build to support the balcony. This avoided any supporting posts which would have looked clumsy in comparison with the sleek lines of the balcony. Composite decking was set level with the internal kitchen and dining area floor to allow these areas to extend out so the balcony becomes part of the rooms.

GLAZED PAVILION
This project focuses on the design of a contemporary Pavilion with full height glazed walls, that can be slid back to allow the inside and outside spaces to integrate. This vision also saw an elegant cantilevered roof to create sheltered external space for sitting out and porcelain tile floor

Let’s face it, it’s about the complete package and we love our garages too.
Showcasing an example of one of our designs for a bespoke stone built double garage with exposed oak framed carport and roof canopy.
The oak has now had chance to age a little and has turned a beautiful silvery grey colour which complements the stone and setting.

By adding an extension to this Prestwich home, it allowed @sgharchitects to
create a spacious open plan arrangement with black aluminium framed sliding doors that lead out on to the garden terrace.
The choice and articulation of materials selected for this project helped to integrate various elements of the build together. Composite board decking used to construct the raised garden terrace complements the vertical timber board wall cladding in terms of texture, scale and appearance. This approach has been used throughout the design to achieve a coherent design
approach and finish.
Now we just need the British sunshine to make an appearance!
